Oxymorons has expanded its hospitality offering with the launch of Fussy Ccat, a reservation-only lunch concept operating from its 130-year-old heritage property in Hyderabad. The new concept introduces a rotating culinary format, with the inaugural edition dedicated to ramen before future editions explore different cuisines and dining experiences.
The concept has been designed around a changing "edit" model rather than a permanent cuisine. According to the company, the format allows the team to regularly refresh menus and culinary themes, offering guests a different experience with each visit. The name Fussy Ccat was inspired by a cat frequently spotted around the Country Club compound, whose selective eating habits influenced the idea of a constantly evolving dining concept.
Honey Jain Guha, Co-founder of Oxymorons, said the brand wanted to create a food experience centred on discovery rather than a specific cuisine. She added that the rotating edit format would allow continuous experimentation while giving guests something new to look forward to on every visit.
Founder Rehan Guha said the first edition focuses on ramen because it is the cuisine the team is currently most interested in exploring, adding that future edits will move across different cuisines, formats and flavour profiles.
The venue undergoes a complete transformation during lunch service, with changes to décor, lighting and tableware before returning to its evening cocktail bar identity at 5 pm. The opening menu includes Tonkotsu Ramen, Shoyu Chicken Ramen, Thecha Paitan Ramen, Charred Nasu Ramen, along with gyozas, cabbage and pork rolls, silken tofu dishes, salads and rotating desserts. Through Fussy Ccat, Oxymorons is introducing a dual-format hospitality model that combines a reservation-only daytime dining experience with its established evening cocktail bar.
