Woodside Inn’s Bazaar Binge Festival returns for its 19th edition and makes its Bengaluru debut at the restaurant’s Indiranagar outlet. The month-long Beer & Burger Festival runs from July 15 to August 16, 2026, across Woodside Inn locations in Colaba, Bandra and Andheri in Mumbai and Indiranagar in Bengaluru. Inspired by 14 celebrated food markets, the programme presents five burgers, three sandwiches and six craft beers shaped by the ingredients, aromas and culinary character associated with each marketplace.
The festival has been developed around the relationship between food, trade and community. Markets from Bangkok, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Istanbul, Marrakech, London, Kuala Lumpur, Barcelona and Colombo have been interpreted through burgers and sandwiches, while marketplaces in Tokyo, Dubai, Melbourne, San Francisco and Mexico City have influenced the beer programme. Marketplace-inspired décor has also been introduced across the participating venues.
A headline collaboration has been created with Chef Seefah, whose Chatuchak Market-inspired burger features two smashed larb moo pork mince patties, melted cheddar and nam jim jaew mayonnaise, served with tom yum fries. Mumbai’s Crawford Market has been represented through a grilled lamb mince patty with mint-coriander aioli, crisp straw onions and nihari velouté, while Bengaluru’s Malleshwaram Market has inspired a chana dal vada patty with badami mango-tamarind aioli and Guntur chilli birria.
Further international influences have been incorporated into the menu. Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar has inspired a grilled beef patty with muhammara, labneh and sumac-pickled red onions, while Marrakech’s Jemaa El-Fna has been reflected through chermoula-marinated grilled chicken, scamorza, harissa aioli and preserved lemon relish. The sandwich selection includes a Kuala Lumpur-inspired crumb-fried tempeh and mushroom creation, a Barcelona-style sangria rosso-brined fried chicken sandwich and a Colombo-inspired cheese and seeni sambol sandwich served with spiced banana chips.
Six beers have been produced in collaboration with Bengaluru craft breweries and Woodside Inn’s brewing team. Tsukiji Sunrise is an in-house yuzu rice lager, while Borough Bean is a limited-edition coffee and cocoa porter developed with Toit. Saffron Sands has been produced with Geist Brewing Co., Vicky’s Tropical Riot with Red Rhino, SF Ferry Tale with 2 Pints and Mercado Wit with Flying Fox using mosambi peel and coriander seeds.
The beers are available in 330-millilitre and 500-millilitre servings, 1,500-millilitre pitchers and tasting flights of three. A Bazaar Passport has also been introduced, allowing guests to collect stamps while exploring different festival dishes and brews.
Pankil Shah, Co-Founder of Woodside Inn, said the festival had presented one of the organisation’s most ambitious creative briefs. “Every market on this list has a distinct personality,” he said. Shah added that the culinary team had worked to preserve the sensory identity of each market while adapting it into a burger, sandwich or beer.
Sumit Gambhir, Co-Founder of Woodside Inn, said the Bengaluru launch was particularly significant because of the city’s curiosity about food and its origins. “Every bite tells you something about where it comes from,” he said. Gambhir stated that the feeling of moving through a busy marketplace had been recreated through flavours, memories and moments of discovery.
Bazaar Binge is being presented as a celebration of marketplaces where cuisine, culture and community naturally come together. The festival will continue across Woodside Inn’s Mumbai and Bengaluru outlets until August 16, 2026.
