Kamari has opened in Anjuna, North Goa, introducing a new beachfront hospitality destination that brings together architecture, cuisine, cocktails, music and design. Conceived as an all-day venue, the property offers a relaxed seaside setting during the day before transforming into a vibrant nightlife destination after sunset.
Inspired by the duality of the sun and the moon, the venue features sculptural architecture influenced by the Arabian Sea, an organically designed central bar and an expansive upper deck with uninterrupted 180-degree sea views. Natural materials such as weathered wood, linen and rattan define its contemporary coastal aesthetic, while a bespoke Toile de Jouy artwork celebrating Goa's coastal heritage adds a distinctive visual identity. Guests can also enjoy beachfront sunbeds, sea-facing dining spaces, private cabanas with plunge pools and solar-powered golf cart transfers.
The culinary programme, led by Chef Ram, showcases globally inspired dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients, including Millet Tabouleh, Avocado Edamame Toast, Zucchini Burrata Curry, Garlic Butter Lamb Chops, John Dory Fish and Prawn Thermidor. The cocktail menu, curated by Dikshit Shetty, features Indian flavours interpreted through techniques such as clarification, fermentation, infusion and distillation, with signature creations including Rasam, Aarambh and Ko-cane.
As evening sets in, the venue transforms around its 23-foot Medusa sculpture with dynamic lighting, digital installations and curated entertainment. Co-Founder and Designated Partner Varun Duggal stated that Kamari was conceived to deliver memorable experiences by combining architecture, hospitality, food, cocktails, music and Goa's natural surroundings, with the ambition of building an Indian hospitality brand that resonates globally while remaining rooted in the spirit of Goa.
