Seasee is being introduced in Bandra, Mumbai, as a contemporary Southeast Asian restaurant centred on street food traditions from the region. The restaurant is officially opened on June 24, 2026, with a menu shaped by flavours associated with Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The launch is being positioned as a new addition to Mumbai’s Asian dining landscape.

The restaurant has been founded by hospitality entrepreneurs Saamir Chandnani and Rinchen Angchuk, who are known for concepts including Mirai. According to the founders, Seasee has been developed from their travels across Southeast Asia, where local food streets and neighbourhood eateries became a major influence. Saamir Chandnani, founder of Seasee, said, “That journey became the inspiration for Seasee.”

The menu has been built around dishes connected to Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia, while flavours from other Southeast Asian countries have also been included. Seasee confirmed that dishes such as Tom Yum, Vietnamese Pho, Thai Mango Salad, Chicken Satay, Pad Thai, Mee Goreng, Thai Green Curry, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Pad Krapow, Malaysian Char Kway Teow and Pla Kapong are being offered. Dessert options including Mango Sticky Rice, Pandan Burnt Basque Cheesecake and Lapis have also been added.

An interactive wok station has been included to give guests a more customised dining experience. The restaurant stated that diners can choose noodles or rice along with proteins, sauces and toppings. Orders placed at the station are prepared on priority, reflecting the quick-service rhythm associated with Southeast Asian street markets.

The beverage programme has been curated by co-founder Saamir Chandnani. According to the restaurant, the cocktails have been inspired by tropical fruits, herbs and spices commonly used across Southeast Asia. The drinks are being positioned as a complement to the bold and layered flavours of the food menu.

The restaurant’s design has been developed in collaboration with the Holy Duck team. The approximately 60-seater space has been created with artwork, open dining areas and an interactive layout. The interiors are intended to support communal dining and reflect the atmosphere of Southeast Asian street food culture.

With Seasee’s launch, Bandra’s dining market is being expanded with a concept built around Southeast Asian street food, regional flavours and interactive service. The founders stated that the restaurant has been designed to bring together the diversity, energy and authenticity of the region’s food culture in Mumbai.
