A curated regional Chinese menu has been introduced by Yoichi by Shiro at its Manyata Tech Park outlet in Bengaluru. According to the restaurant, the showcase has been inspired by the culinary traditions of Guangdong and Sichuan, with a focus on shared dining through steamed dim sum, baos, wok-cooked dishes and comforting regional favourites.

The menu has been designed to highlight authentic cooking techniques and regional flavours. Yoichi by Shiro has stated that the dim sum selection includes Har Gau, Prawn and Chicken Suimai, Cantonese Chicken Wontons and Vegetable Wontons with Sichuan chilli oil. The bao range features Tamanegi Gua Bao, Katsu Chicken Gua Bao and Crispy Duck Gua Bao, while Kung Pao dishes, black bean specialities and claypot preparations such as Chicken with Shiitake and Tobanjang Mince Pork with Eggplant form part of the main course.

The showcase also places emphasis on the progression of a traditional Chinese meal, beginning with delicate steamed appetisers before moving to wok-cooked specialities and hearty claypot dishes. The selection has been curated to reflect the balance of flavours, textures and cooking techniques that define regional Chinese cuisine.

Traditional noodle dishes complete the showcase, with Ho Fun, Black Pepper Noodles, Street Hakka and Singaporean Mei Fun included on the menu. According to the restaurant, the regional Chinese menu has been created to celebrate authentic flavours, culinary craftsmanship and the communal dining traditions associated with Chinese cuisine.
