Bengaluru’s Oktoberfest celebrations are being given a competitive twist with the introduction of Beer Baron, a month-long contest being hosted by Watson’s across its Indiranagar, Ulsoor and Vasanth Nagar outlets. Scheduled from 7 to 31 October 2026, the campaign is designed around a live leaderboard through which participants can follow their rankings and compete for citywide and outlet-level titles.
Two categories of winners will be recognised under the campaign. The highest qualifying participant across Watson’s Bengaluru outlets will be awarded the title of The OG Baron, along with complimentary beers for one month, from 1 to 30 November 2026, redeemable at any Watson’s outlet in the city. Individual outlet winners will be recognised as The Local Baron, with the highest qualifying participant at each participating location being awarded complimentary beers for one week in November.
According to the campaign guidelines issued by Watson’s, participation is restricted to Heineken beer purchased at the designated outlets. A minimum of 100 bottles or mugs must be recorded during the competition for an entry to qualify. Every eligible purchase must be registered by scanning the QR code supplied by the server, and only successfully recorded entries will be counted towards the final rankings. Winners will be determined by the qualifying counts recorded by 31 October 2026, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Beer Baron is being held at Watson’s Indiranagar, Ulsoor and Vasanth Nagar in Bengaluru from 7 to 31 October 2026. The contest applies exclusively to qualifying Heineken purchases, with prizes scheduled for redemption in November 2026, subject to the organiser’s terms and conditions.
