Oasis Brewery is expanding its tap selection with the introduction of two new beers, the Mexican Lager and Belgian Saison, bringing two contrasting brewing styles to its portfolio. The brewery has stated that the additions are being introduced to offer guests a choice between a light, citrus-led lager and a more aromatic farmhouse-style ale. Distinct flavour profiles, alcohol strengths and brewing influences are being presented through the two releases.

The Mexican Lager is being positioned by Oasis Brewery as a crisp and easy-drinking addition to the tap menu. Pilsner malt and flaked corn are being used to create a light-bodied beer, while notes of citrus peel, lemon candy, floral aromas and subtle green tea are being highlighted by the brewery. A clean and dry finish is being maintained with limited bitterness, and the beer has been listed at 4.7% ABV and 12 IBU.

A more expressive profile is being offered through the Belgian Saison, which Oasis Brewery has said is inspired by the farmhouse brewing traditions of Belgium’s Wallonia region. A pale orange colour, mild haze and pronounced carbonation are being combined with fruity and spicy characteristics produced by the yeast. The beer is being finished dry with a relatively light body despite its higher strength of 6.7% ABV and bitterness level of 17 IBU.

Contrasting drinking experiences are being created through the two additions, according to Oasis Brewery. While the Mexican Lager is being built around freshness, citrus character and a clean finish, the Belgian Saison is being shaped by fermentation-driven aromas, spice and lively carbonation. The expanded selection is being used by the brewery to offer a wider range of beer styles while retaining a focus on approachable and distinctive flavour profiles.
