Kitchen Secret, a preservative-free ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook sauce brand founded by mother-son duo Renuka Kedia and Manav Kedia, has raised INR 1.14 crore in its first external funding round. The round was led by BeyondSeed, with participation from angel investors.
The fresh capital will be utilised to strengthen marketing, expand inventory, increase distribution across quick-commerce platforms and scale the brand's business-to-business (B2B) operations. The investment is expected to support Kitchen Secret's expansion across consumer and institutional channels.
Established in 2016, Kitchen Secret was relaunched in 2023 with refreshed branding, an expanded product portfolio and recipes developed in-house. The brand currently offers sauces inspired by Italian, Mexican and Korean cuisines, catering to growing consumer interest in international flavours and convenient cooking solutions.
Since its relaunch, Kitchen Secret has sold over one lakh jars and established a manufacturing facility with a production capacity of approximately 500 kg per day. According to the company, its products are currently available across more than 500 Blinkit dark stores.
Commenting on the funding, Manav Kedia, Co-Founder of Kitchen Secret, said the brand's growth had been driven by continuous learning and product improvement, with a focus on building consumer trust and strengthening its position in the sauces category. Radhika Jain, Co-Founder and CEO of BeyondSeed Middle East, noted that Kitchen Secret had demonstrated promising growth through its differentiated product portfolio and distribution network while remaining bootstrapped. She added that the investment would support the company's next phase of expansion.
Kitchen Secret currently operates across direct-to-consumer, quick-commerce and B2B channels, with products available through its website, Blinkit, Zepto and Amazon. The brand also supplies the hotel, restaurant and catering (HoReCa) sector and provides white-label and private-label manufacturing services. The latest funding will support wider market penetration and the expansion of its consumer and institutional business.
