Idoru is making its first guest shift outside Mumbai with a one-night collaboration at ZLB23, The Leela Palace Bengaluru, marking the cocktail bar's first hospitality partnership since opening in Bandra. The event combines Idoru's signature cocktail programme with a specially curated food menu, bringing together two hospitality concepts inspired by Japanese craftsmanship, hospitality and bartending traditions.

Hosted at the Kyoto-inspired speakeasy ZLB23, the collaboration highlights a shared focus on precision, balanced flavours and immersive guest experiences. Founded by Anil Kably, Neale Murray, Owen Roncon and Chef Nooresha Kably, Idoru has established itself as an experience-led cocktail destination where beverages, cuisine, music and design are equally important. Since launching in Bandra, the venue has become known for its Japanese-inspired bartending philosophy and contemporary food programme.

The beverage experience will be led by Rahul Kamath, Bar Operations Head, and bartender Khanimwon Ramrar, who will serve four signature cocktails—Enmi, To Odoroki, Ikura Opera and Margarita. The accompanying menu, curated by Chef Nooresha Kably and executed by Executive Chef Nirav Gadre and Commis Chef Jagannath Deo, features dishes including Cauliflower with ranch, chermoula and party mix, Idoru 'Pizza', Dashi Mascarpone, Bourdain Sando and Mini Don.

Anil Kably, Co-founder of Idoru, said the team had always intended to take the concept beyond Mumbai but wanted its first guest shift to happen with the right partner. He added that Bengaluru's mature cocktail culture and ZLB23's reputation for hospitality and craftsmanship made it the ideal venue to begin the bar's journey outside the city.

Suchismita Roy, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, said the collaboration was built on shared values of precision, hospitality and craftsmanship inspired by Japanese philosophy. She added that the event would offer Bengaluru guests an opportunity to experience one of Mumbai's emerging cocktail concepts in a thoughtfully curated setting.

The collaboration reflects the growing trend of cross-city hospitality partnerships, with restaurants and bars increasingly joining forces to create exclusive, limited-time food and beverage experiences for consumers.
