JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru has announced an exclusive culinary residency in collaboration with JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, bringing the authentic flavours of Southern Thailand to the city. Scheduled to take place at JW Kitchen from 31 July to 9 August 2026, the limited-period dining experience marks the first culinary collaboration between the two JW Marriott properties.
The residency will be led by Chef Worapong Wongvaiyuth (Chef Eak) and Chef Sawangjit Kongchana (Chef Lookked) from JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa. The chefs stated that the specially curated menu has been inspired by the culinary traditions of Thailand's southern coast and has been prepared using regional ingredients, traditional cooking techniques and recipes that are served at the Khao Lak resort.
According to the visiting chefs, the dishes have been designed to reflect the balance of flavours, freshness and simplicity that define Southern Thai cuisine while offering guests an authentic representation of the region's culinary heritage and hospitality.
JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru said the residency has been conceptualised to provide guests with an immersive dining experience that extends beyond food by celebrating Thai culture, craftsmanship and hospitality. The hotel added that the collaboration reflects the spirit of the JW Marriott brand, bringing together culinary expertise from different destinations to create memorable guest experiences.
The exclusive menu will be available at JW Kitchen for lunch and dinner throughout the residency, offering Bengaluru diners an opportunity to experience authentic coastal Thai flavours without travelling to Thailand.
