Shangri-La Bengaluru marked Independence Day with its annual Cake for a Cause initiative, held from 13 to 15 August 2026. The campaign supported children battling retinoblastoma, a life-threatening eye cancer, through its partner, IKSHA Foundation. During the three-day initiative, 100% of the proceeds from every cake sold were donated directly to IKSHA Foundation to help fund treatment and care for children in need.

Guests could choose from handcrafted Chocolate, Butterscotch and Dry Vegan cakes, with different sizes available upon request. Orders were collected from the Deli Counter at Shangri-La Bengaluru, which served as the designated cake collection point during the initiative.

The cakes were offered as part of the three-day cause-led campaign. Each purchase made during the initiative contributed to the proceeds being donated to IKSHA Foundation.

The campaign brought together Independence Day celebrations and the spirit of giving. Through its partnership with IKSHA Foundation, the initiative focused on supporting children battling retinoblastoma and helping fund their treatment and care.
